Building better health — in the Cowichan Valley and across Canada.
I've spent over a decade applying exercise physiology at the highest levels of sport — from the National Training Centre with Rowing Canada's NextGen athletes to the start lines of elite Nordic ski races. That work taught me something that shapes everything I do: elite performance isn't magic. It's built, piece by piece, through consistent, purposeful training guided by someone who understands both the science and the human behind it.
When I moved to the Cowichan Valley, I brought that same approach to my community. I started 2x4 Coaching because I believe that Olympic-level sport science shouldn't live only in national team programs. It should be available to anyone who wants to move better, feel stronger, and build a healthier life — wherever they are on their fitness journey.
I have a passion for coaching women across all stages of life. My MSc research explored menstrual cycle physiology, sex differences in training response, and HIIT prescription — areas that are still under-studied and often misapplied in mainstream fitness. I bring that depth to every client relationship, alongside CSEP pre/postnatal and high performance certifications.
Whether you're chasing a podium, trying to keep up with your kids on the trails, or simply want to feel strong and capable for decades to come — I'll meet you where you are and build a program that actually fits your life.
